Men of Excellence have been one of the best organizations I have been a part of since being here at Mississippi State University.  MoX has really been a family and a brotherhood more than an organization.  Having a brotherhood that supports you in all that you do is an amazing feeling.  Men of Excellence have not only taught me how to be a strong African American young man but it has taught me how a man in general is supposed to act. Being at Mississippi State University has been a hard journey but for these last couple of years MoX has really helped make these years easy.  I would really just like to thank the great mentors that I developed in Men of Excellence, Mr. Timothy Fair and Mr. Cedric Gathings.  They not only talked to me and let me know when I am doing wrong, they also lived there lives as Men of Excellence.  Actions speak louder than words, and these two mentors and my brothers in Men of Excellence have done nothing but that throughout these past two years. I will always remember the love received from Men of Excellence. MoX Forever!

MOX member 2015

" Before I came to  Men of Excellence, I really wasn't involved in any organization at Mississippi State University. I was trying to  figure out my reasons for even coming to college, or, more specifically, Mississippi State University. In the spring of my freshman year, I received an e-mail that would change my college experience and my life as a whole.  Men of Excellence has turned me into the man that I am today by emphasizing the need for professionalism, academics, and loyal brothers during one's journey. My role in Men of Excellence is slowly becoming my passion, and it continues to serve as my motivation for the things I look to do in my future career. Men of Excellence has given me a support system that I know will continue to impact my life as well as the lives of many young men here at Mississippi State University."
